It Starts With You: Building Harmony From the Inside Out
True owner–associate harmony starts with clarity — not contracts, compensation, or control. In this session, Dr. Sara Mahmood explores how self-awareness, values, and identity shape leadership, culture, and fulfillment for both owners and associates, and offers a practical framework for building alignment, trust, and joy from the inside out.
Key Learning Objectives:
1. Clarify their personal values and leadership identity and understand how these directly influence practice culture, expectations, and relationships.
2. Identify the real sources of owner–associate tension, recognizing how misalignment—not personality or performance—drives most conflict.
3. Define what harmony looks like for both owners and associates, including clear expectations, communication norms, and measures of success.
4. Apply practical frameworks to build alignment and retention, creating systems that foster trust, fulfillment, and long-term joy in the practice.
