Dr. Matthew Young
Dr. Matthew R Young is the current President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Young has twenty-five years of experience placing and restoring implants in private practice. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. He is an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and has also served as its Western District President, Board of Trustees for ten years, Admissions and Credentials Board, Education Committee Board, and Annual Meeting Program Chair. Dr. Young is the founder of the Bay Area Implant Synergy Study Group.
Matthew R Young, DDS, earned his dental degree at the University of Buffalo, graduating with honors. He completed his General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. He was awarded the Resident of the Year Honor and also served as an attending clinician. He has served as President of the San Francisco Dental Society and Delegate for the California Dental Association. He lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry and cosmetics and maintains a successful private practice in Downtown San Francisco. Matthew Young lives and practices in San Francisco with his wife and two children.
