Mike McCarthy, MBA is a proud "OG Nacho". He entered the dental arena over 20 years ago after a five-year stint in Pharmaceuticals where he launched the Mega Drug, Prozac with Eli Lilly. Mike originally thought "How hard could mastering dentistry be?!" He is still trying his best to evolve dentistry and dental clinicians to be on par with medical healthcare and professionals.
Mike has owned and operated several Dental Marketing Communication Firms where he represented the likes of: Colgate, Dentsply/Sirona. Wrigley, Johnson and Johnson and numerous startups which have blossomed into great success stories.
 
Personally Mike has interviewed over 10,000 Dentists, Specialists and Hygienists throughout his research career. Mike is a popular speaker on the dental congress circuit - both for private practice and DSOs alike. He enjoys motivating dentists to be their best and to market their practices effectively without breaking the bank. Mike sits on numerous board of directors with Dental Professional Associations, Dental Manufacturers and Private Equity/Venture Capital firms. He is a published author in numerous dental books and publications and is Adjunct Faculty at Dental Schools and University where he teaches business and marketing principles to dental students.
 
When not "geeking out"on dentistry - Mike can be found on a trout stream fishing in solitude or out training his Chesapeake Bay Retrievers on his farm in NW New Jersey.
